Inv. # V-060816. 11 volumes (14 titles), bound in tan 3/4 leather over marbled boards, with marbled endpapers & edges. Six compartments on spine, with red & black leather labels. Author's Illustrated Edition, with 7 or 8 illustrations in each volume. Titles in the set are: "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea," "Mysterious Island," "Dick Sands," "Hector Servadac," "Fur Country," "Michael Strogoff, Courier of the Czar," "Around the World in 80 Days/ Dr. Ox's Experiment," "Survivors of the Chancellor," "Child of the Cavern," "Begum's Fortune/ Tribulations of a Chinaman," & "Floating City/ Blockade Runners." Some rubbing to edges & corners, else internally clean with tight bindings and no cracks in hinges. Very rare collection of early leather-bound Verne titles.; 12mo 7" - 7" tall

Inv. # 0502. 15 Volumes bound in publisher's red cloth, with gold-stamped titles and decorations on spine. This is the Vincent Parke Co. edition, published as by Daniels, edited by Charles F. Horne, Ph.D. Each volume has at least three illustrations. The spines are uniformly sun-faded. ; 8vo
