NY Harper & Bros. 1884 First Edition Hardcover Very Good- with no dust jacket; One plate ("'T is some visiter entreating entrance at my chamber door") torn at bottom and repaired with cellophane tape. Two tissue guards ("'T is some visiter . . ." and "Here I opened wide the door . . .") torn in corresponding manner. Cellophane tape on "'T is some visiter" tissue guard left mark on back (but not front) of previous engraving.  Illustrated by Gustav Dore
