Title pages in red & black. Illustrated by C.E. and H.M. Brock. Edited by R. Brimley Johnson,with an Introduction by Prof. William Lyon Phelps, Ph.D., Lampson Professor of English Literature, Yale University. 8.5" x 5.25" This is a 1915 reissue in 12 volumes of the 10-volume Old Manor House Edition (Gilson E106), published in 1906 by Frank S. Holby. The Holby edition was also reissued as the 12 volume (limited) 1906 Chawton Edition; as the 12 volume 1906 Manydown Edition; as the 1907 12 volume Illustrated Cabinet Edition (Dana Estes); and as the 1913 12 volume "Winchester Edition" (Himebaugh, New York), this last not to be confused with the Winchester Editions issued by John Grant, Edinburgh.
